The Ferragamo Gancio Inscrepi Woven Satchel is more my style.
The Italian-made satchel comes in the blue-greenish Laguna or basic Black, and both are elegant. Only the lower half of the bag is woven leather while the top half is smooth and buttery; the handles are braided. The bag just looks absolutely gorgeous.
It has more character, in my opinion, than the simpler Salvatore Ferragamo Gancio Increspi Calf Leather Satchel, although the top half of both bags are practically twins, right down to the gathered sides and the Gancini embellishment.
I do like the brighter color of the calf satchel though, but the Laguna color reminds you of the sea. Lovely.

This Bottega Veneta Printed Plaid Boston Bag shouldn’t be called a cutie, but it absolutely is.
Now, if you follow this blog, I’ve always been vocal in my disbelief that Bottega Veneta bags can be oh-so-expensive. But since they’re usually made of hand-woven leather, they’re well worth the bunch of dollars you’d be needing to plunk down before you can clear the store with one on your greedy hands… or hanging on your arm.
This one looks pretty much like all the woven leather Bottega Venetas out there, but the color just jumped out and grabbed me and won’t let me go. The blue and white plaid woven leather is just so young, carefree and cheerful that it looks almost approachable. My idea of the collection is that the bags are all too out-of-my-reach and aloof, and I haven’t found any bag from it that I’d really want for my own, but this Boston Bag just… smiles at me and invites you to plunk down those dollars with a smile.
If I would get a Bottega Veneta, I’d get this one… that is, if I can afford it. The Bottega Veneta Printed Plaid Boston Bag sells for $2,350.00 from Neiman Marcus.

Oooh, really pretty. This Marc Jacobs Iris Sequined Bag is raving red and has this season’s micro-trend frog theme in the cute silver embellishment.
Pretty and quirky, it is covered with stylish red sequins (and I don’t even mind the sequins) and comes with a shoulder strap and wristband which gives you an option on how to use it. Hanging over your shoulder, or looking cute on you arm, this is just perfect. Personally, I love this cutie. It goes definitely well with the quintessential little black dress and sexy pumps. Partying, clubbing, going out on a hot date, this is the perfect little evening bag.

Usher in the new year with a bang with this gorgeous Michael Kors Large Hobo handbag in a luxurious golden color.
I really adore Michael Kors. I just do. I love his creations, and I’ve never found anything to complain about with any of his designs. This hobo is an absolute beauty, with it’s super-luxe finish and braided leather handle. A weighted strap adds character and chic at the front of the bag, and there’s a press stud fastening at the top. I think it’s the absolute perfect New Year’s celebration bag. Of course, you’d want to bring in the new year with a lot of things to celebrate about, don’t you?
You don’t really even need to accessorize with this on you arm, although gold-tone bangles would be a plus, and maybe an amber pendant. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Roberto Cavalli’s Oversized Leopard Print Tote just makes you want to go rawr.
It’s a fabulous carry-all where you can just put all your stuff in to go anywhere, the bar, the beach, the mall… it’s incredibly convenient and quirky. With gold woven drawstring handles, it also has an embossed luggage tag, scaled embossed rivets and an internal side zipped pocket. What had me jumping in glee is the 18″x12″x7″ dimension. Big enough for all my everyday necessities. I’ve learned that I’m not the only woman out there who needs huge, huge bags to get out of the house.
This bag will look great with black or white clothes to add the extra punch to the get-up, maybe a little black dress and really tall wedge shoes. Or if you’re just going to the mall, this will add more glam to a pair of jeans and earth-toned accessories. The size would also make it a great beach bag.
